Purpose #
Please understand the main warning signs (“red flags”) that Apni Pathshala looks for during the incubation phase and the corrective actions you should take if any of them occur. Recognising and addressing these early will help keep your POD on track.
1) Red Flags – Warning Signs #
If any of these happen, it signals a problem in your POD’s operations:
- No PC setup within 1 week
- All computers and equipment must be installed and ready quickly.
- Make sure when you unbox the Apna PC(s) (computers), record videos and send these videos to your assigned POD Co-ordinator personally on their WhatsApp.
- Missed updates for 2+ weeks
- Consistent reporting is essential. Missing updates show a lack of regular activity and may result in your POD getting a Red Flag.
- If any POD get 3 Red Flags, it will result in an immediate termination of the contract, and the computers will be taken back from them.
- No contact or response for 7+ days
- Ignoring calls or messages for more than a week breaks communication and trust and may result in getting a Red Flag.
- Copy-pasted or unclear updates
- Updates must be original, detailed, and reflect real classroom activities.
- Unresolved technical issues
- Problems with PCs, the internet, or setup must be addressed to get the complaints filed within 7 days.
- You can file any pc related issues here: pcissue@apnipathshala.org
- Repeated excuses or poor communication
- Constant delays or unclear responses slow down progress.
2) Corrective Actions #
If you receive a red flag or warning:
- Acknowledge the Issue Immediately
- Respond to the coordinator’s message or call.
- Confirm you understand the problem.
- Find the Root Cause
- Identify why the issue happened (e.g., technical fault, lack of clarity, personal challenge).
- Take Quick Action
- Fix setup problems within 7 days.
- Submit any missing updates or videos immediately.
- Clarify any unclear reports.
- Improve Communication
- Inform your coordinator about progress while fixing the issue.
- Give updates until the problem is resolved.
- Learn and Prevent
- Put systems in place so the issue doesn’t happen again (e.g., setting reminders, having backup equipment).
3) When Multiple Red Flags Appear #
- If more than 3 red flags continue without improvement, the POD may receive an official warning.
- Persistent problems can lead to extension of incubation or closure.
4) Why This Matters #
- Red flags are early signs of problems that can delay your POD’s promotion.
- Corrective action shows you are responsible and committed to improvement.
- Fixing issues quickly helps maintain trust with the Apni Pathshala team.
