Every achievement at Apni Pathshala is supported by a strong foundation of dedicated teams working behind the scenes. From ensuring that students use technology safely to coordinate with PODs across states and building our presence online, each team plays a vital role in keeping our mission alive.
In the past 15 days, the Tech Team, the POD Management Team, and the Social Media & Marketing Team have pushed Apni Pathshala forward in remarkable ways. Here’s a closer look at their efforts.
The Tech Wizards
The Tech Team is the backbone of Apni Pathshala, ensuring both student online safety and smooth system operations. They deploy Niyantran software on POD computers to block unsafe sites, promote responsible Apna PC usage, and monitor online activity. Operating across 22 states, they also create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and conduct online trainings to help POD leaders manage these systems.
Beyond this, the team manages Apni Pathshala’s website, updating content, securing it from bots, and handling SEO to align with organizational goals. With the recent website relaunch giving AP a modern identity, its real test now lies in tackling the challenges that arise.
Recent Milestones
- 200 computers secured with Niyantran.
- Developed NPAMS (New POD Application Management System) prototype in just 2 weeks to manage POD applications efficiently.
- Successfully completed the website relaunch, giving Apni Pathshala a modern digital face.
- Streamlined equipment deliveries, resolving POD complaints faster.
Challenges Faced
- Explaining student safety software to non-tech-savvy POD leaders takes significant extra time and patience.
- The website relaunch was a milestone, but soon after, several bugs and errors surfaced, which the tech team worked tirelessly day and night to resolve in real time.
- Right after the new website launch, several complaints came up, including grammatical errors, slow loading, and downtime, and our tech team worked through the night to resolve them.
The Computer Team
The Computer Team is the heart of our organization, ensuring that every technical resource reaches the right place on time. They manage deliveries of computers and equipment, handle PODs’ technical complaints, and work to resolve them as quickly as possible. By coordinating with courier companies and suppliers, the team makes sure that every PC is safely delivered to the PODs. Alongside this, they also maintain detailed records and follow-ups, tracking how many PCs have been delivered, which are on the way, and how many complaints have been successfully resolved.
Recent Milestones
- 50+ PCs delivered safely to PODs across multiple states in the last 15 days.
- 80% of pending complaints were resolved within the set timeframe.
- A new tracking system has been introduced to monitor deliveries and complaints in real-time.
Challenges Faced
Like every team, the Computer team also faces a fair share of challenges, such as:
- Sometimes, courier companies delay deliveries due to their internal issues.
- Service providers had limited stock, and due to recent waterlogging, they were not able to restock on time.
- At times, PODs do not follow the proper complaint-filing procedure and directly contact the team without drafting an email in the given template.
The POD Management Heroes
The POD Management Team is the soul of Apni Pathshala, guiding each POD from application to execution. They support leaders, conduct meetings, and ensure protocols are followed so that children receive valuable digital education. By staying in close contact, they help leaders align daily operations with Apni Pathshala’s vision.
Today, the team manages 93 active PODs across India. This requires immense coordination, patience, and commitment, but their dedication keeps every POD functional, aligned, and empowered to spread digital literacy in its community.
Recent Milestones
- Helped 100 students create 100 websites in just one week.
- Apni Pathshala 2.1 is an upgraded and improved version of our earlier initiative. With 33+ new PODs joining us, our family has grown bigger, and with that comes greater responsibility. To match this growth, we embraced a fresh start and successfully rolled out Apni Pathshala 2.1.
- Proudly achieved the milestone of documenting 25+ new student success stories.
- Welcomed 5 amazing new PODs into the family: Atulya Digital Shiksha, Arcadia NIOS (Tamil Nadu), Inspire – Veritas Computech Learning Center, AsHA Computer Center, and Kitabwaari Foundation.
Challenges Faced
- Although structured guidelines are provided, many POD teachers struggle to follow them since they come from remote areas where additional training and on-ground support are still required.
- Most POD teachers have limited presence on social media, which makes it challenging to maintain consistent engagement on these platforms.
- For including Apni Pathshala mentions on POD websites, many PODs depend on third-party managers, which often causes delays in implementation.
- Due to fewer hands available, the workload has grown, creating challenges in smooth task distribution.
The Gen-Z Powerhouse
The Social Media & Marketing Team is the face of Apni Pathshala; without them, our impact would remain invisible to the outside world. They keep the organization visible and engaging by staying updated with trends, posting regularly on social media, sharing success stories, publishing blogs, and running campaigns that capture attention.
Beyond creating content, they also build awareness through active community interactions and collaborations. Alongside this, the team carries the responsibility of meeting weekly and monthly growth targets, ensuring that Apni Pathshala continues to stay connected with its audience and expand its reach.
Recent Milestones
- Rebranded and conducted a successful online event with POD leaders.
- Successfully launched the Chalo Seekhe campaign, bringing a new wave of energy across the community, from PC wallpapers to WhatsApp profile pictures, the brand was refreshed everywhere.
- Achieved strong traction on Instagram and YouTube, with one video going viral and reaching 686k views so far.
- Built a wider presence on LinkedIn and X.

Challenges Faced
With the campaign now launched, the team’s real challenge is to:
- Increase participation in the ‘Chalo Seekhe’ campaign.
- Due to campaign activities and the website relaunch, the team was unable to experiment with new content concepts or fully keep up with trends.
- Publishing fewer blogs during this period also affected the overall reach of the website.
Despite these challenges, the Social Media & Marketing Team continues to put in consistent effort to keep Apni Pathshala relevant, inspiring, and visible.
