This video addresses the tragic racial attack on Anjel Chakma, a 24-year-old student from Northeast India. Anjel was subjected to racial abuse, being called “Chinese” and “Japanese” by intoxicated individuals. What began as verbal racism escalated into violence, ultimately taking his life. Following this heartbreaking incident, protests erupted demanding justice for Anjel Chakma and accountability for the racial violence faced by people from the Northeast. At Apni Pathshala, we stand firmly against racism, discrimination, and hate in all forms. Through this video, we clearly state that we will not let such hatred affect our Northeast POD students or any child within our learning community. Every student deserves safety, dignity, and respect, regardless of their region, identity, or background. This is not just a story — it is a reminder that education must also teach empathy, inclusion, and humanity. 👉 Stand against racism.
