1. Introduction & Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the strategic collaboration between Apni Pathshala and the POD (or Partner Organization). The primary objective is to enhance digital literacy, provide skill development, and provide high-quality educational resources to students within the community.

2. Equipment Lease & Ownership

  • Ownership: All computers and peripherals provided remain the sole property of Apni Pathshala. This is a 15-month lease agreement and shall not be construed as a donation.
  • Quantity: Apni Pathshala will provide up to 10 computers per POD.
  • Lease Extension/Termination: Based on performance assessments, Apni Pathshala may extend the lease or, conversely, shut down the POD and reclaim resources if they are underutilized or misused.
  • Quality Check (QC): Upon receipt of equipment, the POD must submit a mandatory Quality Check report within 24 to 48 hours.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

   3.1 Apni Pathshala’s Obligations

  • Resource Provision: Supply up to 10 computers and necessary peripherals.
  • Training: Offer technical training to POD staff/volunteers for resource optimization.
  • Support: Provide ongoing technical support and periodic performance assessments.
  • Branding: Supply promotional materials to highlight the collaboration.
  • Strategic Oversight: Ensure the POD maintains its educational trajectory and impact.

  3.2 POD’s Operational Obligations

  • Infrastructure: Provide a dedicated, safe space with stable electricity, internet, and seating.
  • Human Resources: Maintain a minimum of 3 skilled staff members/volunteers to manage operations.
  • Enrollment: Ensure an initial minimum enrollment of 30 students at onboarding.
  • Operational Continuity: The POD shall not remain inactive for more than 7 consecutive days regarding operations, reporting, or communication.
  • Usage Policy: Computers must be used strictly for educational purposes.

   3.3 Specific Provisions for Schools

  • Leadership Accountability: The School Principal is directly responsible for operation, safety, and equipment use. In the event of a change in leadership, the successor automatically assumes these responsibilities.
  • Vacation Policy: The POD must remain operational during school vacation periods.
  • Usage Optimization: To ensure measurable progress, schools are advised to grant daily access to a limited cohort of higher-grade students, while other students utilize the lab periodically.

4. Monitoring and Compliance (Departmental Law)

  • Monitoring Systems: All computers are equipped with Apni Pathshala Monitoring Systems. These systems track all activities to prevent misuse.
  • Technical Integrity: The POD is prohibited from making any hardware or software changes without explicit prior authorization from Apni Pathshala.
  • Innovation & Testing: PODs must cooperate with Apni Pathshala’s educational experiments and pilot new teaching methodologies to improve community education standards.

5. Reporting and Communication

Strict adherence to the reporting schedule is a condition of the lease:

  • Weekly Reports: Submitted every Friday (including video updates and performance data).
  • Monthly Reports: Submitted by the 3rd day of the following month.
  • Responsiveness: The POD must respond to official emails and calls within 2 working days.
  • Transparency: Maintain clear records of student attendance and equipment usage.

6. Financial Arrangements

  • Capital Costs: Apni Pathshala bears the cost of computers and initial training.
  • Maintenance: Apni Pathshala covers repair costs. If a POD pays for a repair or component transportation, an invoice/bill must be submitted within one month for reimbursement.
  • Operating Costs: The POD is responsible for all recurring expenses (electricity, internet, etc.).
  • Student Fees: Any fees charged to students must be fair and reinvested into educational quality. Apni Pathshala will not interfere in the POD’s internal finances.

7. Branding and Digital Presence

  • Website & Social Media: The POD must maintain an active official website and social media platforms.
  • Logo Placement: The Apni Pathshala logo must be displayed on the POD’s website as a collaborator.
  • Content Credits: All social media content related to the POD must mention Apni Pathshala.
  • On-site Branding: Apni Pathshala branding must be prominently displayed at the physical location.

 

8. Termination
Apni Pathshala reserves the right to immediate termination of the agreement and reclamation of all equipment under the following conditions:

  1. Failure to meet reporting deadlines or communication lapses.
  2. Intentional damage to equipment.
  3. Inactive status exceeding 7 consecutive days.
  4. Misuse of equipment for non-educational purposes.
