Meet 3 students who transformed into mentors at Apni Pathshala POD. The Peer Learning Journey of Aditya Dubey, Sumit Mishra, and Gaurav Singh from NCT-LFP POD – Apni Pathshala Introduction What if the best teacher in the room isn’t a teacher at all but another student? At the NCT-LFP (Narayanchandra Trust—Learn From Peers) POD of Apni Pathshala, students don’t just sit and learn. They grow, teach, guide, and become leaders. It’s a space where a student can transform into a mentor, where peer learning replaces traditional teaching, and where every learner has the power to shape another’s journey. This blog brings you three real stories about Aditya Dubey, Sumit Mishra, and Gaurav Singh. All three joined LFP not knowing much. But they saw something different, a class that wasn’t just a boring class. It was a place where students helped students, and that changed everything. Aditya Dubey “I joined because my brother joined. I stayed because it changed how I learn.“ When Aditya was in 10th grade, his brother joined the first No-Code batch at LFP and quickly secured internships and freelance projects. Seeing his brother succeed made Aditya curious, so he joined LFP when he entered the 11th grade. When Aditya walked into LFP, he noticed something unique. Students were teaching students. It wasn’t like school or any other classes. Here, peers helped each other without pressure. It felt welcoming. Aditya had 9 subjects, an extra CCC course, and sports. He struggled to manage everything. On top of that, younger students were already making websites and games. He felt behind. He began with L2 (No-Code). He built websites using WordPress and created games in Scratch. Slowly, his confidence grew. He improved his communication, managed his time, and recently gave a college presentation without fear. Now, he supports other mentors and guides new learners alongside the POD leader, Aniket Kadam. Sumit Mishra “I couldn’t even ask questions in class. Now I lead discussions.” Sumit learned about LFP when LFP mentors visited his school. Curious, he joined the L2 batch and later advanced to L3. He expected teachers and lectures. But instead, he saw students just like him explaining concepts. It was strange, but exciting. Sumit had major stage fear. He avoided speaking, even in small groups. Managing school, coaching, and LFP classes was also tough. One day, mentor Gaurav asked him to explain a topic. Nervous, he tried. And succeeded. That small step built his courage. He now runs sessions, speaks with clarity, and helps other shy students open up. He’s also learned to manage time better and picked up new skills like WordPress. Gaurav Singh “I didn’t know much about website or game creation, but I learned and built enough confidence to teach the L1 batch.” Gaurav’s entry into LFP was thanks to his brother, Sourav. He was new to tech but excited to explore. He found WordPress, Excel, and Scratch difficult at first. He was also preparing for CA and doing his graduation. It was a lot. Gaurav started small, helping a few friends. Soon, Aniket Kadam, the POD leader, asked him to teach a L1 batch. He gave it a shot. With encouragement and practice, he grew. Today, he teaches five classes and helps students learn Excel for business. He designs course outlines and uses his accounting knowledge in his lessons. When he isn’t teaching, he prepares for competitive exams and works on improving his own skills. Why NCT-LFP is Different Unlike regular computer classes, NCT-LFP is a community built by students. There are no strict teachers, no one-way learning. Everyone is free to ask, try, and teach. Peer learning makes education more human. Many of our mentors, like Aditya, Sumit, and Gaurav, didn’t plan to teach. They simply started learning and discovered they could guide others too. This approach helps students overcome: And replaces them with: Want to explore more?
